Eötvös Loránd University is internationally recognized and its programs are accredited by the Hungarian Accreditation Board. While, It is one of the old University in Hungary. Therefore, My second choice is BA English and American Studies. Over the last hundred years, Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) has had many world famous scientists and four Nobel Prize laureates among its teachers and alumni. So, It would be an honor to start my bachelor’s degree course.

While, through this BA program, I would have a chance to acquaint myself with the foundations of literary and linguistic analysis, the British and American political culture, language development, academic argumentation and essay writing, as well as typography. Meanwhile, series of seminars and lectures will enhance my competence in using English as a language of global communication, academic writing, and everyday oral argumentation in a scholarly and business environment. Additionally, I will attain the foundations of academic research, evaluation and critical thinking in English literature, British and American socio-political history, and will develop an understanding of the linguistic levels of description and analysis of English.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and American Studies, I would be eligible for admission to the English Studies MA or American Studies MA. Meanwhile, I would be able to work in different fields, such as journalism, tourism, education in non-state-founded schools, government organizations, diplomacy, and any other jobs that do not require degree-specific skills.
