My name is ——- and I want to apply for MS data science at the University —— Italy. Because, Data science is a fascinating, lucrative, and fast-growing field. I have 16 years of education in Computer Science. You can evaluate my academic performance, as I have performed quite well in my bachelor’s degree course. While, I want to advance my career in data science. Therefore, I have shown interest in this master’s program. While, the program structure is very well balanced. As, The curriculum design ensures that the graduates can creatively find technology-based solutions, think critically and analyze systems and emerging problems independently. All the documents have been attached with the application.
The MS Data Science program will prepare me to extract valuable insights from data. It will offer strong preparation in statistical modelling, machine learning, management of massive data sets, data visualization, software engineering and data ethics. I will get understanding of the mathematics behind machine learning and statistical modelling and the theoretical and practical know-how of dealing with big data. While I would have opportunity to range of electives in the second year of program.
The main objectives of this graduate program are to enhance the advanced knowledge for graduates to get actionable results by applying statistical and modelling techniques for complex business decisions. I would be able to analyze a solid problem and reach computable solutions. While I would also be able to expose the state-of-the-art technologies that match with designed solutions. Meanwhile, I will gain hands-on experience with data-centric tools for statistical analysis, visualization, and big data applications at the same rigorous scale as in a practical data science project. And I will understand handling data especially for data security and business ethics.
Data scientists are already among the most demanded specialists in the hi-tech market. While, Data Engineer, Data Scientist, and Data Analyst are some of the big job positions in several industry verticals. The goal of this program is to equip me with high-level knowledge and expertise in machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, industrial data analytics, natural language processing, mathematical modelling and other important areas of modern data science. I would be able to design and run the systems to perform data science tasks. While, I may opt for entrepreneurship as a career or may choose many of the available job options. Meanwhile, I may work as a data science researcher. So, there are several career options for me after graduation.
